Cinnamon Tea Cakes

- 1 c. soft margarine
- 1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
- 2 1/4 c. sifted flour
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1In large bowl of electric mixer, at medium speed, beat margarine until light and fluffy.

2Then, at low speed, blend in 1/2 cup sugar, flour, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, the salt and vanilla (dough will be stiff).

3Chill in refrigerator 30 minutes.

4Preheat oven to 400°.

5Lightly grease cookie sheet.

6Roll dough with fingers into 1-inch balls.

7Place balls 2 inches apart on cookie sheet; bake 10 minutes.

8On piece of waxed paper, combine remaining sugar and cinnamon.

9Roll hot tea cakes in this mixture. Place on wire racks; cool.

10Makes 3 dozen.
