Ingredients

  • 2 C beef broth
  • 1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 c tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp chilli powder
  • 2 tsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp ground allspice
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 lb spaghetti
  • for garnish: cheddar cheese, diced onion, sour cream.

Directions

    Whisk together in bowl: broth, tomato sauce, tomato paste, vinegar, chilli powder, cocoa powder, cumin, cinnamon, cloves, allspice, salt and pepper. Add to slow cooker.

    Add Garlic and Onion.

    crumble in Beef and mix all together. Cover and cook 6 hours on low, 8 hours on high.

    To Serve: Ladle chilli over spaghetti and serve with garnishes.
