Ingredients
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 Tbsp. finely shredded orange peel
- 3/4 c. orange juice
- 1/4 tsp. finely shredded
- lemon peel
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1/2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
Directions

1In mixing bowl, thoroughly stir together flour, sugar, salt and baking soda.

2Combine egg, orange peel and juice, lemon peel and juice and cooking oil.

3Add egg mixture to dry ingredients, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.

4Fold in nuts. Turn batter into greased 8 x 4 x 2-inch loaf pan.

5Bake in 350° oven for 50 to 60 minutes.

6Remove from pan and cool completely on wire rack.

7Wrap in foil and store overnight before slicing. Makes 1 loaf.
