- 3 slices bacon
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 1/2 c. half and half
- 3 to 4 cans chopped clams (not minced)
- 2 to 3 c. cubed potatoes (use the red-skinned guys, no peeling)
Directions

1Cut up bacon in little pieces and brown.

2Add onion, saute. Add clams, juice and all.

3Add potatoes.

4Simmer until tender, keep covered so juice doesn't all evaporate.

5When potatoes are tender, add celery soup

6and half and half.

7Simmer gently, do not boil unless you like to chew on rubber erasers.

8Season individually with fresh ground pepper.
