- 2 medium spuds, diced
- 2 c. finely chopped celery
- 3 cans minced clams
- 1 large green pepper, diced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1/2 lb. bacon
- 1 qt. milk
Directions

1Cook celery, onion and spuds well done in just enough water to keep from sticking.

2Add clam juice and simmer 5 minutes.

3Fry bacon until well done, but add pepper before bacon is done so flavor will blend.

4Add clams and simmer about 10 minutes.

5Add enough flour to thicken and simmer 10 minutes.

6Put all together. Add milk and let come to a slow boil.

7Season to taste.

8Stir vegetables frequently to avoid sticking.

9Serves 6.
