- 1/2 c. finely chopped bacon
- 1/4 c. onion
- 1 c. boiling water
- 2 c. pared, cubed potatoes, cooked
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 can chopped clams
- hot milk
- butter
Directions

1Fry bacon until crisp; add onion and saute until lightly browned.

2Add 1 cup boiling water, potatoes, salt and pepper.

3Boil 15 minutes or until potatoes are soft.

4Add clams and heat 1 minute.

5Place mixture in bowls, top with pat of butter and add hot milk to desired consistency.
