Ingredients

  • 1 large chopped green pepper
  • 1 large chopped onion
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 3 medium potatoes, peeled and diced small
  • 1 bottle clam juice
  • 1 can chopped clams
  • 1 to 1 1/2 tsp. seafood seasoning
  • salt to taste
  • 1 1/2 oz. potato flakes
  • milk
  • fresh ground pepper to taste

Directions

    Cook small diced potatoes in small amount of water until tender.

    Saute green pepper and onion in stick of margarine. Drain most of water from potatoes.

    Add bottle of clam juice and juice of can of clams, reserving clams for later.

    Cook over medium heat.

    Add sauteed onion and potato flakes.

    Add milk to desired thickness; heat thoroughly.

    Add clams just before serving.
