Ingredients
- 1/2 to 1 bunch chopped green onions
- 3 celery stalks, sliced
- 3 medium potatoes, cubed
- 1 1/2 to 2 c. chicken broth
- 1/4 lb. butter
- 1/2 c. flour
- 3 c. milk or to desired thickness
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 to 3 cans chopped or minced clams (do not drain)
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- 1 to 2 carrots, chopped (if desired)
Directions

1Place green onions (chopped), celery, carrots and potatoes in chicken broth and simmer.

2While this is simmering, make white sauce with butter and flour.

3Melt butter, then stir in flour; blend until smooth.

4Gradually add milk (if too thick, add more milk).

5After this thickens, add cream of mushroom soup.

6Blend together.

7After the vegetable mixture is tender, add white sauce to vegetables.

8Add clams and enjoy!
