  • 2 to 3 cans clams (reserve 1/2 c. juice)
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1/2 c. onion, chopped
  • 1 c. peeled, diced raw potatoes
  • 2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. clam juice
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
