Ingredients

  • 2 cans whole baby clams
  • 2 cans water
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • garlic powder to taste (I prefer lots!)
  • 1/8 to 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 2 large potatoes, finely diced
  • 2 qt. half and half
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 1/2 stick margarine or butter
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 stick margarine

Directions

    Put the first 6 ingredients in a large pot.

    Bring to boil; cook for 20 minutes.

    Add the half and half.

    In a skillet, saute the onions (chopped) in 1/2 stick margarine or butter.

    Add to pot after 10 minutes of cooking time.
