- 1-3/4 cups milk
- 1/2 cup instant white rice, uncooked
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. raisins
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Combine milk, rice, sugar, raisins and salt in medium saucepan.

2Bring to boil, stirring constantly.

3Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 6 min., stirring occasionally.

4Beat egg and vanilla lightly in small bowl.

5Stir small amount of hot mixture into eggs.

6Stirring constantly, slowly pour egg mixture back into hot mixture.

7Stirring constantly, cook on low heat 1 min.

8until thickened.

9(Do not boil.)

10Remove from heat.

11Let stand 30 min.

12Serve warm.

13Store any remaining pudding in refrigerator.
