- 3/4 c. milk
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 3/4 c. water
- 5 c. unsifted flour
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
Directions

1Grease a large bowl.

2Set aside.

3Heat milk, water and butter in saucepan until very warm.

4Combine 2 cups flour, sugar, salt and yeast in mixing bowl.

5Add heated mixture and egg.

6Beat about 2 minutes.

7Stir in enough flour to make soft dough.

8Turn onto floured board.

9Cover with bowl.

10Let rest 10 minutes.

11Knead until smooth.

12Shape into ball.

13Place in prepared bowl.

14Turn once to grease top.

15Cover and let rise in warm place until double in size. Punch down.

16Grease 24 muffin cups.

17Pinch off pieces of dough and shape into balls.

18Place 3 in each cup.

19Cover and let rise until double in size.

20Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.
