  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 pkg. dry yeast
  • 1 c. warm water
  • 1 c. warm milk
  • 1 stick soft butter
  • 1 egg, beaten

    Combine 1/4 cup water, yeast and 1 teaspoon sugar.

    Combine flour, sugar and salt.

    Add to milk, water, egg and soft butter. Knead well, then let rise double in bulk.
