- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 yeast cake or 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 Tbsp. melted oil
- dash of salt
- 1/4 tsp. sugar
- flour
Directions

1Heat buttermilk (do not boil).

2Drop in yeast cake or dry yeast and let dissolve.

3Add oil and mix.

4Add salt and sugar. Sift in flour as needed and knead at the same time.

5Add flour to make up a good dough.

6Knead well.

7Pinch off 3 small balls (English walnut size).

8Roll in hands, then place in muffin tin. Let rise.

9Bake at 425° until well browned.
