- 2 lb. ground chuck
- 8 soda crackers, soak in warm water and squeeze
- 1 small onion, minced
- 2 eggs
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 bottle Heinz chili sauce
- 1/2 jar Welch grape jelly
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1/2 tsp. ginger (optional)
Directions

1Mix first 5 ingredients and shape into balls (small).

2Mix remaining ingredients and melt over medium heat.

3Put raw meatballs into hot sauce.

4Cook 30 to 40 minutes.

5Refrigerate and reheat before serving.

6Tastes best when made a day ahead and reheated. Makes approximately 72.
