Ingredients: 3 eggs; 2 c. sugar; 1 c. butter; 1/2 c. water; 2 1/2 c. flour; 1 tsp. baking soda; 1 tsp. cinnamon; 1 tsp. allspice; 1 c. chopped nuts; 1/2 c. chocolate morsels; 2 apples, cored and chopped; 1 Tbsp. vanilla

2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1/2 c. water
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. chocolate morsels
2 apples, cored and chopped
1 Tbsp. vanilla

Directions

Beat together eggs, sugar, margarine and water until fluffy. Sift together flour, cocoa, baking soda, cinnamon and allspice. Add to cream mixture and mix well.

Fold in nuts, chocolate morsels, apples and vanilla until evenly distributed.

Spoon into greased and floured 10-inch loose tube pan.

Bake in a 325° oven for 60 to 70 minutes until done.
