- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3 c. milk
- 3 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 baked 9-inch pie crust
- sweetened whipped cream
Directions

1In a medium saucepan, stir together cocoa, sugar, cornstarch and salt.

2Gradually add milk to dry ingredients, stirring until smooth.

3Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils.

4Boil 1 minute.

5Remove from heat; stir in margarine and vanilla.

6Pour into baked pie crust.

7Carefully press plastic wrap directly onto pie filling.

8Cool; refrigerate 6 to 8 hours.

9Top with whipped cream.

10Refrigerate leftover pie.
