  • 4 each egg whites
  • 23 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flour, all-purpose
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 cups coconut

Directions

    Heat oven to 325F (160C).

    Grease and lightly flour cookie sheets.

    In medium bowl, beat egg whites until frothy.

    Add sugar, flour, cocoa, salt and vanilla; blend well.

    Stir in coconut.

    Drop by tablespoonsfuls 2 inches apart onto greased and floured cookie sheets.

    Bake at 325F (160C) for 11 to 16 minutes or until set.

    Cool 1 to 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheets.
