- 1 box white cake mix
- 2 pkg. frozen coconut
- 8 oz. sour cream
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. Cool Whip
Directions

1Prepare cake mix as directed on box.

2Cool.

3Slice each layer and make 4 layers.

4Mix sugar, sour cream and flavoring.

5Add 1 1/2 packages coconut.

6Mix and put between layers only.

7Mix the remaining coconut and Cool Whip.

8Frost top and sides of cake. Save some coconut to sprinkle on top.

9Let stand several hours or overnight.

10Keep in refrigerator.
