Coconut Cake

  • 1 pkg. Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 c. coconut
  • 3 1/2 c. Cool Whip (8 oz. tub)

Directions

    Bake cake mix as directed on package in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Cool cake for 15 minutes.

    Poke holes on top of cake with utility fork (not quite through).

    Mix all of the milk and sugar with 1/2 cup coconut.

    Bring to a boil for 1 minute.
  5. 5
    Spoon on top of cake into holes.
