  • 4 whole chicken breasts (8 pieces), boned and skinned
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano
  • 6 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 1/4 c. Marsala or dry sherry, divided
  • juice of 1/2 lemon

    Pound breasts slightly and dredge in flour mixed with seasonings.

    Melt margarine in skillet; brown chicken on both sides.

    Add 1 cup wine, cover and simmer 1/2 hour or until tender.
