- 1 c. sugar
- 4 egg yolks
- 4 c. milk
- 1/4 c. cornstarch
- 1/3 c. coconut
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 (9-inch) pie crust, baked
- 2 c. whipping cream
- powdered sugar
Directions

1Cook first 4 ingredients until thickened and creamy, stirring constantly, over medium heat.

2Add butter, vanilla and coconut. Remove from heat.

3Pour in baked shell.

4Cover with wax paper and chill.

5Whip cream and add powdered sugar.

6Beat until thick.

7Top pie; sprinkle with toasted coconut.

8Keep refrigerated.
