- 3/4 c. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 1/2 c. milk
- 2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
- pinch of salt
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 c. coconut
- 1 baked pie shell
Directions

1Cook cornstarch, sugar, milk, egg yolks and salt.

2Cook in top of double boiler until thick.

3Add vanilla and 3/4 cup coconut; pour into baked pie shell.

4Pile on meringue and sprinkle with coconut.

5Brown in a 350° oven.
