- 3/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 2/3 c. peanut butter
- 1/2 c. corn syrup
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3 c. old-fashioned oats
- 1 c. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. flaked coconut
- 1/2 c. sunflower kernels
- 1/3 c. wheat germ
Directions

1In a large bowl, combine brown sugar, peanut butter, corn syrup, butter and vanilla.

2Combine the remaining ingredients; add to peanut butter mixture and stir to coat.

3Press into two greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pans.

4Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.

5Cool on wire racks.

6Cut into bars.
