  • 1 pkg. Duncan Hines golden sugar cookie mix
  • 2 egg whites, divided
  • 1 tsp. coconut or almond extract
  • 1 3/4 c. flaked coconut, divided
  • red candied cherries, halved

Directions

    Combine cookie mix, 1 egg white, almond extract and 1/2 of coconut.

    Shape dough into 1-inch balls.

    Dip into remaining egg white.

    Roll into remaining coconut.

    Place on ungreased baking sheet.

    Press candied cherry half into center of each cookie. Bake at 375° for 8 minutes or until golden brown.

    Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet.

    Remove to cooling rack.
