- 1 pkg. Duncan Hines golden sugar cookie mix
- 2 egg whites, divided
- 1 tsp. coconut or almond extract
- 1 3/4 c. flaked coconut, divided
- red candied cherries, halved
Directions

1Combine cookie mix, 1 egg white, almond extract and 1/2 of coconut.

2Shape dough into 1-inch balls.

3Dip into remaining egg white.

4Roll into remaining coconut.

5Place on ungreased baking sheet.

6Press candied cherry half into center of each cookie. Bake at 375° for 8 minutes or until golden brown.

7Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet.

8Remove to cooling rack.
