- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- dash of salt
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 (3 1/2 oz.) can flaked coconut (1 1/3 c.)
Directions

1Beat egg whites with vanilla and salt until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff, but not dry.

2Fold in coconut.

3Drop rounded teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet.

4Bake at 325° for about 20 minutes.

5Immediately remove cookies to rack. Makes 18.
