- 1 egg
- 1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk (2/3)
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. margarine or butter
- 1 1/3 c. flaked coconut
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1In saucepan beat egg slightly.

2Stir in milk, sugar and margarine.

3Cook and stir over medium heat, about 12 minutes or until thickened and bubbly.

4Stir in coconut and pecans.

5Cool thoroughly.

6Spread on cake.

7Frost top of 13 x 9-inch cake or two 8 or 9-inch cake layers.
