- 3 egg yolks
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp. oleo
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 pt. sweet milk
- 1 1/2 c. flaked coconut
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- pinch of salt
Directions

1Beat eggs with mixer until foamy.

2Add sugar, flour and cornstarch.

3Slowly add milk.

4Cook until thick.

5Remove from heat; add salt, vanilla, oleo and coconut.

6Return to heat; cook until coconut, salt and vanilla are hot and mixed well with pie filling.

7Pour in 9 or 9 5/8-inch baked pie crust.

8Top with meringue.

9Bake until golden brown.
