  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 c. milk
  • 2 c. coconut
  • 2 deep pie crusts or 3 shallow pie crusts

    Do not use electric mixer.

    Use hand wire whisk.

    Slightly beat egg yolks; stir in 1 cup milk.

    Then stir in remaining milk, sugar and coconut.

    Beat egg whites and stir in mixture.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until centers jell.
