- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 4 egg yolks, beaten
- 1 can coconut
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- pinch of salt
Directions

1Mix milk, sugar and flour; cook until it begins to thicken. Let cool for a short time.

2Add egg yolks slowly.

3Add coconut. Cook until thick.

4Remove from heat and add vanilla and margarine. Mix well.

5Pour in unbaked pie shell.

6Bake at 400° for 20 minutes or until crust is done.

7Add meringue and brown.
