Coconut Pie

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 can coconut
  • 4 Tbsp. oleo (liquid)

Directions

    Mix all ingredients, except oleo, in large bowl, mixing until fluffy.

    Pour into raw pie shell.

    Dribble oleo over entire surface of pie.

    Bake at 375° for 10 minutes.

    Reduce heat to 300° and bake 40 minutes, until crust is golden brown and pie is congealed.
