- 3 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 2/3 c. Crisco
- 3 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. sweet milk
- 5 eggs
- 1 c. coconut
- 1 1/2 tsp. coconut flavoring
Directions

1Cream shortening, butter and sugar.

2Add eggs one at a time and beat well.

3Sift flour, baking powder and salt.

4Add to sugar and egg mixture with milk.

5Add coconut and flavoring.

6Pour into a large angel food cake pan.

7Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325°.
