  • 1 1/2 c. butter or Crisco
  • 5 large eggs
  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 c. flour (plain or cake flour)
  • 1 c. sweet milk
  • 1 Tbsp. coconut flavoring
  • 1 can Angel Flake coconut

    butter for 10 minutes on high speed. Add one

    egg at a time and beat after each egg.

    Sift and add all dry ingredients and milk to eggs, then fold in coconut and flavoring. Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 25 minutes.
