- 1 c. oleo and 1/2 c. Crisco
- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 3 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 1 c. milk
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. Angel Flake coconut
Directions

1Beat oleo and Crisco with sugar until creamy.

2Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

3Add vanilla.

4Add flour and salt to creamed mixture and milk alternately to creamed mixture on medium speed.

5Fold in coconut.

6Grease and flour angel food cake pan.

7Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, or until toothpick stuck in center comes clean.

8Cool slightly before removing from pan.

9When cool, slice in three layers.
