- 1 lb. codfish, salted
- 1 lb. potatoes, thinly sliced
- 2 medium onions, thinly sliced
- 1/2 c. tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. olive oil
- 1/4 c. olives
- 1 Tbsp. capers
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 (4 oz.) jars pimientos
Directions

1Soak codfish night before in water.

2Drain and boil in 2 liters of water for 15 minutes.

3Shred codfish.

4Make sure you take all bones out.

5In large skillet alternate layers of potatoes, codfish and onions.

6Add the rest of the ingredients. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 30 minutes or until potatoes are done.
