- 1 c. golden raisins
- 2/3 c. strong perked coffee
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 2/3 c. Crisco
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Combine raisins, coffee and cinnamon; let stand.

2Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

3Mix and sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; add to mixture.

4Gradually add to this the coffee mixture. Spread the batter in greased shallow 9 x 13-inch pan.

5Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.

6Try with a toothpick.

7While warm, spread with glaze.
