  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 1/2 c. warm water
  • 1/8 tsp. ginger
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 4 to 4 1/2 c. flour

Directions

    Dissolve yeast in warm water containing the ginger and 1 tablespoon sugar.

    After 15 minutes, add the remaining ingredients.

    Put in 2 one pound coffee cans, well greased or one 2 pound coffee can.

    Bake at 350° (2 cans for 45 minutes or 1 can for 60 minutes).
