Coffee Can Pop Up Bread

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. powdered milk
  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 1 c. hot tap water
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. Wesson oil
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 1/4 to 3 3/4 c. flour

Directions

    Combine all ingredients and blend well except for flour.

    Add flour and mix well.

    If batter is too thin, add more flour.

    Put in a large bowl; let rise until doubled in bulk.

    Punch down and divide into 2 one pound coffee cans, greased well.

    Let rise until 1/2 inch from top or until lid pops off.

    Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.

    Remove and grease top and sides.
