  • 1 stick pie crust mix
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 c. chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3 tsp. instant coffee powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. heavy cream, whipped
  • 1 tsp. powdered sugar

    Shell:

    Crumble crust mix very fine; blend in brown sugar, nuts and 1 square of chocolate (grated).

    Remove 1 tablespoon of the mixture and place in a pan and bake at 375° for 5 minutes. Cool.

    Add water to the remaining mixture.

    Blend well and press into an 8-inch buttered pie pan.

    Moisten fingers for pressing. Bake at 375° for 15 minutes.
