  • 1 (4 to 5 lb.) bottom round roast
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 c. cola
  • 12 oz. chili sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. hot sauce (if desired)

Directions

    Combine salt, pepper and garlic powder.

    Rub over roast. Brown roast on all sides in vegetable oil in Dutch oven.

    Drain off drippings.

    Combine remaining ingredients; pour over meat. Cover and bake at 325° for 3 hours or until tender.
