- 1 medium head cabbage, coarsely shredded
- 6 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into eighths
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Cook cabbage, covered, in a small amount of boiling salted water 5 to 7 minutes or until tender.

2Drain and set cabbage aside.

3Cook potatoes in boiling salted water to cover 15 minutes or until tender.

4Drain and mash.

5Add butter and next 3 ingredients; mix well.

6Add cabbage, stirring well.

7Serve immediately.
