  • 12-14 large ripe tomatoes, peeled
  • 3 or 4 green peppers
  • 3 or 4 red peppers
  • 10 large onions
  • 1 large bunch celery
  • 1/2 c. salt
  • 4 c. vinegar
  • 8 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 box (2-3/4 oz.) mustard seed

Directions

    Grind together the tomatoes, green and red peppers, onions and celery.

    Add 1/2 c. salt.

    Pour into a bag and drain until no liquid comes out.

    vinegar and sugar. Warm together until sugar dissolves.

    Add celery seed and mustard seed.

    Can. No cooking and no need to process. Will keep on shelf.
