  • 5 eggs
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. milk

    Cream sugar, butter and Crisco together, beating until light. Add eggs, mixing well.

    Add dry ingredients, milk and vanilla, mixing well.

    Start cake in cold oven.
