  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 3 large Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. cold water

Directions

    Cream butter and eggs together. Sift all dry ingredients together; slowly add dry ingredients to creamed butter and eggs. Add 1 cup cold water and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
