- 1 c. butter, room temperature
- 2/3 c. powdered sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
Directions

1Combine butter, sugar and vanilla until very light and fluffy. Add flour gradually, mixing until well blended.

2Chill dough in freezer for 30 minutes.

3Roll out a third of the dough at a time. Keep remaining dough chilled.

4On a lightly floured board, gently roll out dough to 1/4-inch thickness.

5Cut out with cookie cutter. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

6Bake at 350° for 15 minutes until lightly browned.

7Cool for a few minutes before removing from pan.
