- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 5 tsp. salad oil
Directions

1Blend the milk, oil and eggs with wire whip.

2Combine salt and flour and add to the egg mixture, beating thoroughly.

3Batter will be lumpy.

4Refrigerate for 10 minutes.

5Grease heavy muffin or popover pans thoroughly, but do not flour.

6Fill baking cups to top with batter and bake in preheated 425° oven for 20 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350° and continue baking for 20 minutes more.

7Popovers should have a hollow sound when tapped and be brown all over.
