- 1 lb. crabmeat (fresh or frozen)
- 1 (15 oz.) can artichokes
- 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of cayenne pepper
- 1 c. half and half cream
- 2 Tbsp. sherry
- 1/4 c. crumbled cornflakes
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- paprika
Directions

1Thaw crabmeat, if frozen; drain.

2Remove any shell or cartilage.

3Cut artichoke hearts in half.

4Place artichokes in a well-greased shallow 1 1/2-quart casserole.

5Cover with mushrooms and crabmeat.

6Melt butter in saucepan; blend in flour and seasonings.

7Add cream gradually and cook until thick, stirring constantly.

8Stir in sherry.

9Pour sauce over crabmeat.

10Combine crumbs and cheese.

11Sprinkle over sauce.

12Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes, until bubbly.
