  • 2-3/4 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 2-1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 pound Light Brown Sugar
  • 2/3 cups Butter, Softened
  • 3 whole Large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 5-1/2 ounces, weight Milk Chocolate Chips

Directions

    1.) Sift flour, baking powder and salt all in one bowl.

    2.) Stir the brown sugar with softened butter in mixer bowl until everything is combined and butter is magically gone!

    3.) Add the eggs (one at a time) and make sure you stir well after each egg.

    4.) Add vanilla extract and chocolate chips.

    5.) Add flour mixture and mix until it is well combined.

    6.) Grease your 13 X 9 pan evenly and spread the batter into pan.

    7.) Bake at 350 degrees F for 30-40 minutes or until top is golden brown.

    The great part about these Congo Bars, is that they are so versatile! Mix in chocolate chips, M&M's, coconut flakes, nuts... or all!
