- 1 box brown sugar (light, 1 lb.)
- 1 1/2 sticks margarine
- 3 eggs
- 2 2/3 c. flour (all-purpose)
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 small pkg. chocolate chips
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Melt sugar and margarine together.

2Add 3 beaten eggs.

3Stir. Add flour, baking powder and vanilla.

4Stir.

5Add nuts and chips. Stir.

6Batter will be thick.

7Spread in a greased and floured 11 x 15-inch pan.

8Bake 30 minutes in 350° oven.

9Remove promptly and cool 2 hours before cutting in bars.
