  • 1 1/3 stick of Oleo
  • 1 lb Light brown sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 1/3 stick of Oleo
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 3/4 cup Plain flour
  • 3 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Coconut flakes (optional)
  • 1 cup Chopped pecans (optional)
  • 12 oz Semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Coconut flakes (optional)

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350F

    Blend room temp oleo and brown sugar in a stand mixer

    Add eggs and beat until well incorporated.

    Add vanilla

    Add salt and baking powder

    Very slowly start to add flour a little bit at a time

    Add coconut

    Add 3/4 chocolate chips

    Grease a 9 x 13 metal baking pan

    Dump mixture into pan

    Grease hands and press mixture down to make it an even layer

    Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips across the top

    Sprinkle chopped pecans across the top

    Bake in oven for 25 minutes until light golden brown and a knife comes out clean

    Allow to cool completely before cutting
